With only narrow side access to the back yard and quite a small block to work with, construction was certainly tight.
After 30 weeks of activity on site, we doubled the internal house area and completely transformed the externals.
The end result is spectacular and this revitalised jewel certainly adds some charm to this Bronte street.

* Having gone through a very stressful time with an architect and council I am happy to say we had a very good experience with Andrew Lockhart and AIL Constructions. Andrew’s attention to detail and experience all contributed to the great quality of our job and ensured the build was completed within the 8 months as planned, and on budget. Andrews approach to any problems was always based around consultation and an agreed solution, he was always willing to put the necessary time in to explain in detail. Finally, I would have to say the quality of their documentation (Progress Claims, detailed costing of extra work, explanation of our PC spending etc) and attention to detail around this documentation was also very comforting - if you are planning to build we would recommend AIL Constructions as a great builder for your home.
